The workaround is a small registry tweak:

1. Open regedit
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft\ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ system
3. Create a new key (Right click -> New, DWORD Value (32bit))
4. Name the key "LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy" and give it the value "1"
5. Click OK

Once you have done this you should be able to access the admin shares remotely under a local admin account. - JD
